RRU commits to building and maintaining constructive relationships with staff, faculty and employee groups.

We ensure the university community is informed about employee and labour relations at RRU. We provide updates about matters between the university and its bargaining units plus information on non-union employee relations.

Supporting the community

The People and Culture team provides expertise and support to supervisory and management staff on:

  • collective bargaining, administration and interpretation
  • employment-related policy development, administrations and interpretation
  • grievance administration and conflict resolution
  • discipline/corrective action advice
  • attendance and performance management
  • training on labour relations and human resources management
  • assists in administrative re-organizations
