Throughout the campaign, along with prizes from raffles and the like, we hold weekly draws for $50 gift cards to a merchant of your choice.
There are plenty of options to choose from and those include giving to charity. And while we love providing those options, we also want you to take this opportunity to enjoy YOUR win, by choosing something for yourself. It's OK to treat yourself, too. You deserve it.
*** Gift cards are a taxable benefit, and we must advise Payroll who wins. The addition of a $50 winning may or may not make a difference to your T4.

3 - A donation to the RRU Christmas Family support efforts |
We will connect with the RRU Christmas Family organizers to see what is needed. We'll take their advice and buy something suitable - a specific gift, a gift card to a grocery store, etc. and we'll let you know we've done that. You will receive a thank you email from them. |
4 - A donation to the charity of your choice |
A standard administrative fee of 10% is applied to donations made to organizations outside United Way, to a maximum of $100. ($5 of your $50 prize will go toward admin fees and $45 will go to your chosen charity). If you donate to United Way, there is no admin fee. |
5 - A gift card to any of the businesses through support local BC |
If you choose this option, you don't need to specify what store you'll be supporting. We will send you a virtual visa card via email. Then, you spend.
