
Here's what you should do if you discover a fire, flood or gas leak in a building at Royal Roads campus:
Fire
In case of fire, stop what you're doing and let the people around you know there's a fire. Pull the nearest fire alarm and evacuate the building the nearest assembly area.
Flood
In case of flood, be aware that water on a floor may be electrically charged or contaminated; do not operate any electrical switches.
Evacuate the building and go to the assembly area.
Once you are at the nearest assembly area, inform Campus Security of the incident:

Gas leak or gas smell
If you smell gas or suspect there has been a gas leak, do not pull the fire alarm. Immediately evacuate the area and go to the nearest assembly area.
Once you are at the assembly area, inform Campus Security of the incident.
