Gina Williams, CPHR

Gina is one of three Associate Directors Human Resources responsible for overseeing the full breadth of human resources functions and services offered at Royal Roads University.

Gina’s core responsibilities are focused on providing leadership and direction with regard to the management of employee and labour relations and occupational health and safety. This includes chairing labour management committees, co-chairing the joint occupational health and safety committee, assisting in collective bargaining, labour and employment-related University policy development and administration, and regulatory compliance.

Gina supports the RRU team of Human Resource Consultants, by providing technical guidance, support and coaching on the application of:

• Employment Standards
• Human Rights
• Workers Compensation Act & B.C. Occupational Health and Safety Regulations
• Common law
• the University’s employee contracts and policies
• performance management
• B.C. Labour Relations Code & collective agreement administration and interpretation
• grievance/arbitration, and communications with union representatives
